With good reason: in any industrial environment \u2013 and particularly in the cold-rolled steel sector \u2013 a number of risks are inherent to the nature of the tasks performed.[\/vc_column_text]
<\/span>The Excellent Safety project is born<\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”12px”][vc_column_text]Thus, the continuous improvement dynamic that Arania and the whole Group implement in all its activities becomes even more essential when it comes to safety, a key asset in the path to further growth as a benchmark for industrial excellence in quality. After renewing its ISO standards and certifications in safety, quality, environmental protection and energy efficiency<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0Arania is going one step further with the Excellent Safety project, launched in 2021.<\/p>\n

What is the Excellent Safety project about? First and foremost, this is not a typical industrial plan that merely aims to improve factory safety. Far more than that. This project does not start from a rigid concept, but rather aspires to involve all the company’s resources in a global and consensual reflection on possible improvements in safety, based on three key pillars: people, participation and awareness, with the idea of fostering a cultural change.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Excellent Safety project is structured around three main assessment areas: 1) standardised procedures and safety training; 2) organisation and cleaning (in an industrial environment, tidiness and taking care of the smallest detail contribute to safety); 3) finally, the operational level, i.e. the facilities, how they can be adapted to achieve maximum safety, and automation as a driver for risk reduction.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”12px”]

<\/span>Safety = involvement + awareness + commitment<\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]To effectively implement the Excellent Safety project, management alone cannot address all the required improvements throughout different stages of the industrial process, across departments and even in different locations. Instead, Arania’s team has first-hand experience and knowledge of every single aspect of their work<\/strong>: how it has to be performed and how it affects people and the product.<\/p>\n

In order to move forward, Arania’s commitment to the Excellent Safety project involves close collaboration between staff and management to find joint solutions to common issues.
